Energy, Art, and Community at the Queer Arts Festival
This past weekend was spent outside Barre for the Queer Arts Festival (QAF), and the response from everyone who stopped by was incredible. From the moment things opened, our booth was buzzing, keeping us on our feet and fully engaged the entire time.
Events like this serve as a great reminder of how vibrant the local creative community is. Everywhere you looked, the talent was on full display, featuring remarkable ceramics, handcrafted jewelry, and delicious local food. The overall energy was rooted in a genuine enthusiasm for art, life, and bringing people together.
While the continuous flow of visitors meant there was hardly a spare moment to step away and mingle with fellow makers, sharing our work with such a welcoming, appreciative crowd made for a deeply fulfilling weekend.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth to chat, look at the work, and support local artists.
A barn used for resting and as a HQ for the festival.
There was more than 80 vendors at the festival. This shows only a very small portion. The location was absolutely beautiful.
