Reverie Vase — Work in Progress

Reverie Vase — a work in progess that is now glazed.

Continuing the work on a new ceramic vase—this one’s already dreaming in glaze. I’ve named it Reverie—for the way it holds softness and curiosity in equal measure. It starts with an eggshell base, gentle as morning light. Then come the dabs—Violet and Lapis—brushed on like fleeting thoughts, like dusk remembering day.

I’ve never tried this combination before, but something about it feels quietly daring. Here’s to trusting the process—and the poetry that heat and time might reveal.
